In the increasing chaos of green beauty world with daily popping up of a new brand, SiamSeas stands apart with her line of products. With the beautiful amalgamation of science and traditional Southeast Asian beauty receipes Supadra, the owner has bought us her beautiful products which are not only highly effective but provides you a unique sensorial experience. I first read about them through Sarita Coren, wherein she told us about how Supadra created these products to deal with her skin issues. One look at the ingredients and I saw myself typing in my credit card details feverishly at midnight at her site. I ordered the must try product from her line – Head to toe purifying mask. I added the turmeric scrub on a whim. Soon after I began waiting for my package as I was at war with my skin at that time with some strange breakouts which was hormonal/allergic/infective(?) God knows what!! But USPS decided to play devil and lost my package. Some calls and apologies later, Supadra being the kind and generous person she is, sent me another package. She won my heart right there with her impeccable customer care. Anyway this post is not about her, though I can dedicate an entire post to my conversations with her (may be someday later). More about her products which I have tried so far –
Purifying Head to Toe Mask
This mask is like a boon for acne prone/ sensitive/troubled skin. I use it only when my skin is acting up because I never want to run out of it and stretch it as much as possible.
Packaging: Supadra has given so much emphasis on the details that it doesn’t go unnoticed. The whole experience from opening the package to the after effect is just so wonderful that I’m afraid that I may sound too superficial describing it.
The mask comes in a beautiful glass jar with a wooden spoon which is fixed to the side so you don’t have to run to the kitchen to get one everytime you decide to indulge in this mask. The jar looks also looks very pretty sitting on the bathroom shelf.
Ingredients : Calcium Carbonate (natural occurring calcium salt), Limonia Acidissima (wood-apple) Powder, Zingiber Cassumunar (Plai), Curcuma Aromatic Salisb (Wild Turmeric) Powder, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Extract, Terminalia Chebula, Acacia Concinna (Som Poy) Powder, Garcinia Mangostana (Mangosteen) Powder, Knema Cotisosa Lour Herb, Pueraria Candollei Grah EX Benth Var Mirifica (White Pueraria) Powder
My skin type : combination but leaning towards more oily in this humid summer, prone to dehydration and acne.
My experience: This mask containing 9 powerful ancient herbs comes in a powder form and needs to be mixed with water or a liquid of your choice to form a paste. It has a very unique smell which you may attribute to its unique ingredients. It has
- Plai which has long been used by Thai massage therapist for its antispasmodic and antiinflammatory benefits.
- Turmeric – known as ‘queen if spices’ in Ayurveda, is a powerful antioxidant and antiinflammatory.
- Terminalia Chebula is a well known herb in Ayurvedic medicine and is used in burns along with its multiple benefits when taken internally.
- Acacia Concinna has traditionally been used for as a mild cleansing agent due to its natural low pH and high levels of Saponins.
- Mangosteen powder – an effective and powerful antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties.
- Knema Cotisosa Lour herb – beneficial in eczema and scabies
- White Pueraria – known as ‘fountain of youth’ and is used as an anti wrinkle agent.
For my first application, I used water to make a paste and let it dry for 15 min and when I washed my face looked even, soft to touch but it left a slight yellow stain. Next time I added the rice water and the results completely blew me away. I soak about a handful of rice in a glass of warm water and soak it for 5-6 hours, strain it and store it in my refrigerator for future uses. It lasts for around 3-4 days. Rice water itself is high in enzymes, minerals and together with the potent asian herbs, the results are clearly visible. I usually leave it for 15-30 min. It dries up like a clay mask but it doesn’t dry up the skin. It can also be used as a scrub. It always helps me to reduce my congestion, acne and redness. My skin looks brighter and even toned. You don’t need much and the quantity you get is sufficient to last for months.
Do I recommend? Yes, it’s suitable for all skin types. If acne, redness and congestion is your primary concern then this will help a lot.
Will I repurchase ? Yes

Turmeric Coconut Facial Scrub
What caught my attention when I saw this scrub was turmeric. Turmeric has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine for its skin healing properties. It’s used in Indian marriages as a sacred ritual to purify and to protect against the evil eye.
Packaging: comes in a open jar which is light and travel friendly.
Ingredients: Deionized water, Milk, Olea europaea (Olive) oil, Honey, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) oil, Sucrose, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) meat, Sesamum indicum (Sesame) seed oil, Curcuma longa (Turmeric) extract, Vitis vinifera (Grape) seed oil, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet almond) oil, Citric acid, Fragrance (natural from essential oils), 1,3 Propanediol (vegetables derived), Potassium sorbate (plants derived).
My experience: If you follow my routines on Instagram then you’d know that I’m not a big fan of physical exfoliation. I decided to give it a chance thinking that if I won’t like it, I’ll use it as a body scrub. But I ended up falling in love. This scrub to soap formula has a granular consistency which provides gentle exfoliation without being abrasive at all. The best part of it is that it suds up when you add water giving you the deepest clean, bright and soft skin post wash. I use it for the second cleanse in the night and first cleanse in the morning. These days I’m using it with Oskia Renaissance cleansing gel and this duo gives me the softest skin ever with a visible glow.
Do I recommend? Yes, yes and yes. Suitable for all skin types.
Will I repurchase? I have no doubts. Hmm..I might try jasmine rice next time. That sounds divine ❤❤

My experience: This balm will remove all your preconceived notions about balms. It’s has a cushion comfort of a balm which melts into an oil as soon as it touches your skin. The floral/ herbal fragrance envelopes you without leaving a trace of oiliness on your face. It’s the best balm that has touched my face and trust me I have tried many.
What’s unique about this balm apart from it’s ingredients, is the addition of stable form of vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbyl- the same form which is used in zelens vitamin c drops) and oxyresveratrol found in Lakoocha extracts and bioretinoids found in rosehip. The other herb amongst the array of beautiful ingredients which makes me excited is centella Asiatica (gotu kola) which is known for collagen synthesis. It tones down the redness, reduces the size of the acne almost overnight and gives you a weightless hydration. The skin feels even toned and clear. My skin is highly congestion prone and I have used this balm four nights in a row without any congestion. The best way to use this balm is to use it immediately after cleansing and toning on a wet/damp face. I use it just after washing my face without drying my face with towel and after massaging it in, I spray the toner. If I feel that I need more hydration, then I use the few drops of oil over the balm and I see it being more effective this way. Whether your concern is dullness, dehydration or acne -every skin type will benefit from this balm.
Will I repurchase ? Yes
Do I recommend? Without any hesitation.

Siam seas has another gem in their arsenal – their “Twilight Be Calm Skin Serum” which along with it’s beautiful ingredients also has retinol palmitate (vitamin A ester) in a base of black cumin seed oil along with pulverized aloe Vera gel. It’s perfect for acne prone skin. I don’t find it greasy at all but I still need more time to play with it to form my definite opinion and I’ll definitely review it later in detail.
Overall, I’m highly impressed with Siam Seas as a brand and looking forward to try more of their products. Supadra was generous enough to offer code ‘myskinritualdiary’ which will save you 15%. I don’t get anything off this code.
