About me –

IMG_20160224_082631Hi there ,

Welcome to my blog,

My name is Molly. For me, skincare rituals are the way for giving myself some love. I was always very meticulous about my daily skincare and for most of my life I had a pretty decent skin with occasional hormonal breakouts , hyperpigmentation and sunspots. I was doing double cleansing  since I was in college (thanks mum). This was not even a fancy thing to do then. I was also using my own DIY face masks. But my real passion for skincare started two years back when I realized the importance of reading the labels and checking the ingredients list. Therefore I definitely try to avoid products with known harmful and unnecessary ingredients. But it’s a slow process and I for sure want to switch to brands and products which are not only safe but also effective.

I created this blog to share my passion for skincare. There are so many beauty blogs around the world that I hesitated for the longest time to write one of my own. I have spent an enormous time reading blogs and reviews of the products. Sometimes I find what I’m looking for and other times it leaves me exasperated not finding what I want no matter how many blogs I go through. There can be multiple reasons like the reviewer doesn’t have the same skin type or same preferences etc.  That’s what made me realize that you always an audience who is looking out for something what you want to share . I’m starting my journey with my sole intention of sharing my love for skin care and to give you my honest views on the products I use in my daily routine which might help you taking a decision before indulging in huge and overwhelming world of skincare.

I want my blog to be constructive and at the same time honest. My views are about the products and not the brands so any negative views about any product doesn’t mean that I’m against any brand. I’m open to criticism as long as its healthy. If a product doesn’t work out for me I’ll talk about the specifics why it doesn’t work for me and hopefully you will be able to make an informed decision whether it will or will not work for you. Neither I’m being paid nor am I interested in marketing any product just for money. I’m a medical professional and in no way connected to any skincare brand.

Thank you for taking out time to read my blog .

Follow me on instagram – @skinritualdiary to see how am I using any product before giving my review. I would love to hear your experiences.

First of all, congrats on the blog! It is an exciting and enriching journey, that’s just my impression so far, having had my own blog for about 3 months now. And secondly, I’m so glad you’ve started your blog and joined the blogosphere! Your recommendations and reviews are always so honest, concise and to the point, yet you manage to cover all aspects of a product, even those some of us might not have considered. Great job and all the best! So excited to be reading your blog and follow you on Instagram!
